“It was the best Rossini the Greek National Opera has ever produced”
– Yiannis Svolos, Efimerida ton Syntakton

“Cenerentola is a triumph, not only artistic but intellectual as well. The director Rodula Gaitanou gave us a production full of thoughtful and emotional pleasure. Nobody could find a flaw in this well refined world, presenting Cenerentola in the 1930s.” – Nikos Vatopoulos, Kathimerini

“The simple but elegant costumes Alexia Theodoraki, did not more than enlarge the final result of the spectacle as well as the scenery and magnificent lighting of English Simon Corder.” – Vassilis Andreatos, Opera World

“For the rest, very pleasing and rich coloristic and narrative flair are the scenes and lighting by Simon Corder…” – Roberto Calogiuri, ilfriuliveneziagiulia.it

“A triumphant Rossini’s Cinderella at the Verdi in Trieste… The non-beautiful scenes of Simon Corder perhaps tend to excessive gloom but are functional to the directorial design.” Paolo Locatelli – ildiscorso.it

“… unusual and eye-catching proposal scenic played on more levels and more plans, designed by international scenographer Simon Corder.” – Monica Ferri, radiopuntozero.com

“The sets and the lights are simple, pleasant and well made by Simon Corder…” – Paolo Bullo, repubblica.it
