Technical production management involves planning;
specification; venue reconnaissance; drawing and
documentation; technical contracts; site management;
budgeting; co-ordination of venue and contractors;
delivering the project on time and within budget.
Health
and safety of audience, performers, and crew is always
crucial, and given the highest priority.
My work
in this area is design-focused: drawing on years of
experience as a lighting and projection designer,
alongside twenty or so years as a technical and production
manager.
